The Yellow Bellied Marmot (Marmota flaviventris) is also known as a rock chuck. They are considered a ground squirrel. It is native to the western mountains in the US and Canada. What Can I say “Turtle Rock” is massive. This image is one of the outermost formations at “garden of the gods” in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It is truly a beautiful site. It was interesting I was standing right below turtle rock and could see nothing. It looked like a big rock, not unlike many in garden of the gods.
