There are only three ways to have the Pikes Peak experience you can hike to the top, drive the 19 miles or so to the top, or take the cog railroad.

This is an image of Zebra (Equus quagga or plains/Burchell’s zebra) by a rock in a field. The zebra is a pretty amazing and unique creature. When I look at it I see a horse, no more but also no less with stripes. I should probably say make no mistake this is no horse.

The golden shrimp plant is a tropical plant that is mainly used for landscaping. The white runners Vaguely resemble a shrimp and the golden leaves give this plant its name. Its scientific name is “Pachystachys lutea”. The plant is native to Central and South America.
